Bathala Thila

Bathala Thila is a spectacular underwater pinnacle in the Ari Atoll, known for thrilling shark encounters, dramatic overhangs, and a vibrant marine ecosystem. The thila rises from the ocean floor to within 15 meters of the surface, measuring approximately 100 meters by 50 meters. Its walls are adorned with soft corals, gorgonian sea fans, and colorful sponges, attracting pelagic species like sharks, rays, and schools of fish. Recommended for intermediate to advanced divers due to currents.
