8 Mile Rock is one of Koh Lipe’s premier offshore dive sites, located in deeper water and renowned for its impressive marine life. This submerged pinnacle rises from the seabed and attracts large schools of barracuda, trevally, tuna, and snapper, while divers may also encounter reef sharks, eagle rays, and seasonal whale sharks. Stronger currents and deeper depths make it best suited for experienced divers seeking exciting pelagic action.
