Batu Niti is one of Tulamben’s hidden gems, featuring a rocky volcanic slope covered with fine sand, scattered corals, and excellent macro life. Known for its outstanding underwater photography opportunities, divers can encounter frogfish, ghost pipefish, nudibranchs, boxer crabs, octopus, snake eels, and other rare critters. The site offers a peaceful alternative to Tulamben’s busier dives, with generally mild currents, good visibility, and occasional sightings of barracuda and other pelagic fish in the blue.
