Turtle Cave is a unique dive site beneath Sipadan, featuring an extensive underwater limestone cave system famous for the skeletal remains of turtles that became trapped inside while searching for air pockets. The cavern entrance is surrounded by healthy reefs where green and hawksbill turtles are commonly seen, along with reef fish and occasional sharks. Due to its overhead environment and complex passages, exploration of the cave itself is restricted to properly trained cave divers, while recreational divers can enjoy the fascinating exterior reef and cave entrance.
