Blue Lagoon is a sheltered bay near Padang Bai that offers one of Bali’s best beginner-friendly and macro diving experiences. The site features a gently sloping sandy bottom interspersed with coral bommies and reef patches, creating ideal habitat for a wide variety of marine life. Divers can spot nudibranchs, leaf scorpionfish, frogfish, octopus, moray eels, blue-spotted stingrays, and occasional reef sharks, while the healthy coral attracts schools of reef fish. With calm conditions, excellent visibility, and depths ranging from around 5–22 meters, Blue Lagoon is suitable for divers of all experience levels and is especially popular with underwater photographers and marine life enthusiasts.
