Lapus Lapus is one of Malapascua’s most colorful reef dives, renowned for its vibrant soft coral gardens, dramatic rock formations, and excellent macro life. Strong currents help sustain healthy coral growth, while crevices, overhangs, and small canyons provide shelter for frogfish, nudibranchs, shrimp, flatworms, and other critters. Giant sea fans, sponges, and occasional pygmy seahorses make the site especially popular with underwater photographers. With depths generally reaching around 18–20 meters, Lapus Lapus offers a beautiful combination of reef scenery and macro diving for divers of all experience levels.
