East Reef

East Reef is a gently sloping coral reef on the eastern side of Lankayan Island, featuring healthy hard corals, scattered bommies, and sandy patches that make it ideal for relaxed exploration. The site is known for turtles, blue-spotted stingrays, reef fish, nudibranchs, ghost pipefish, and occasional blacktip reef sharks, with seasonal sightings of whale sharks possible between March and May. Suitable for divers of all experience levels, East Reef is an excellent site for underwater photography and leisurely reef dives.
