Overview
Makena Landing, also known as Five Caves or Turtle Town, is a top Maui scuba site. It features an easy sandy entry, a shallow max depth of 40 feet (12 meters), and underwater caverns. Divers can explore swim-throughs and spot green sea turtles, white tip reef sharks, and colorful reef fish. Five main caves (like Shark Cave and Bubble Cave), underwater arches, and many Hawaiian green sea turtles.
