Overview

The SS Thistlegorm is one of the most famous wrecks in the world. This WWII British supply ship was bombed in 1941 and lies upright at 30 meters. It is a time capsule containing motorcycles, trucks, tanks, rifles, and locomotive engines. Divers can penetrate the holds to see the cargo. It is a haven for marine life, including schools of barracuda, batfish, and trevally. It is 126.5m long and lies between 16m and 31m. Note: Risk of collapse in some areas.

Access: Boat access from Sharm El Sheikh or Hurghada.
