This small Island has the added attraction of the church of St Nicholas, The Patron Saint of Antiparos, built upon it. The dive itself starts over a nice sheltered lagoon where we drop into very shallow water and are able to get our buoyancy and kit together before descending down to a maximum depth of 16 metres. It can also be used for DSD's plus a variety of courses, ie.e Open Water, Navigation, PPB etc.

Marine life: Documented marine species observed at Tourna Island include Mediterranean moray eels (Muraena helena), dusky groupers (Epinephelus marginatus), greater amberjacks (Seriola dumerili), Mediterranean barracuda (Sphyraena viridensis).

Access: You can moor a small boatagainst the Island and slide off into the calm water, as it is protected from the north wind.

Safety: Dives should be planned in accordance with local marine weather and surface swell conditions. Deploy a surface marker buoy when ascending in open water away from coastal rock formations.
