Overview

British Algerine-class minesweeper lost after striking a mine near Syvota in January 1945. The Grafas team documents the wreck on sand, with damage at the stern and substantial fishing gear over the bridge and superstructure. Grafas reports wreck depths of 50–63 m. The Culture Ministry’s 2021 inventory also lists 63 m as the maximum. The reviewed archive position has not been independently corroborated for the named wreck; map coordinates are left unset.
