Overview

British submarine lost to a mine off Kefalonia in December 1941. Acoustic and ROV research documents the wreck, and Blue Manta describes it on sand off the island’s south coast. The marine survey reports 52 m water/seabed depth. This is not a measured whole-wreck top-to-bottom range. Blue Manta separately describes a dive route reaching about 50 m; no single maximum-depth field is assigned. The reviewed archive position has not been independently corroborated for the named wreck; map coordinates are left unset. Access: Boat dives are described by Blue Manta Diving on Kefalonia.

Safety: Blue Manta reports occasional strong surface currents. Healthy Seas has documented recurrent fishing-net entanglement and removals, including three large trawler nets in its later cleanup report; removal does not establish that the wreck is net-free.
