Overview

Near well known Caves, you can enjoy some open water diving as well. Steep drop off till 30 meters with rock formations.

Access: Arkadiko is a shore dive accessible directly from the coastline of Peloponnese Region. Divers enter the water from the rocky shore or beach.

Marine life: Documented marine species observed at Arkadiko include common octopuses (Octopus vulgaris), Mediterranean moray eels (Muraena helena), damselfish (Chromis chromis), common cuttlefish (Sepia officinalis).

Safety: Dives should be planned in accordance with local marine weather and surface swell conditions. Deploy a surface marker buoy when ascending in open water away from coastal rock formations.
