A magnificent reef on the high seas south of Aegina. It features deep waters, abundant fish life, and abrupt slopes with a small submarine canyon, making it excellent for photography.

Access: Petrokaravo reef is accessed by dive boat departing from local harbors in Regional Unit of Islands, Attica. Dive boats anchor or secure to mooring lines above the site.

Marine life: Documented marine species observed at Petrokaravo reef include dusky groupers (Epinephelus marginatus), greater amberjacks (Seriola dumerili), Mediterranean barracuda (Sphyraena viridensis).
