Overview
Cave with entrance at 3m. A sandy cave, with stalagmite, stalactites and sandy bottom. There is organic residue ontop of stalactites providing an eerie atmosphere to the cave. You can gradually follow the cave walls until 30m. There is guideline installed.
Access: By Boat.
Marine life: Documented marine species observed at Magic Gate (Cave) include common octopuses (Octopus vulgaris), dusky groupers (Epinephelus marginatus), greater amberjacks (Seriola dumerili), encrusting sponges and yellow cluster anemones (Parazoanthus axinellae).
Safety: Caution is required as the fine sandy bottom can easily be stirred up, rapidly degrading visibility. There is a steep sandy slope inside the cave that divers follow down to 30 meters along an installed guideline.
