Overview

Swim from the shore to right islet, head North East and you will find a big drop off with steep rock formations to 50+ plus meters.

Access: Access by car (roughly 2 hours drive from Athens). There are many benches right next to the beach where you can place your tanks and equipment to get ready easier. Divers enter from the shore, swim toward the right-hand islet, and head northeast across the submerged saddle to find the big drop-off with steep rock formations to 50+ meters.

Marine life: Documented marine species observed at Strava include Mediterranean moray eels (Muraena helena), dusky groupers (Epinephelus marginatus), European conger eels (Conger conger), encrusting sponges and yellow cluster anemones (Parazoanthus axinellae).

Safety: Visibility can be challenging, as is usually the case with the Corinthian Gulf; maintain close buddy contact. The vertical wall drops precipitously past 40 to 50 meters, requiring strict gas planning and non-decompression limit monitoring.
