, Gerombong is one of Tulamben’s lesser-known dive sites, located on Bali’s northeast coast near Kubu. This quiet reef dive features a mix of black volcanic sand, coral-covered ridges, rocky slopes, and sandy channels, creating a varied underwater landscape that appeals to both macro photographers and reef enthusiasts. Divers can encounter nudibranchs, ghost pipefish, frogfish, moray eels, schooling fusiliers, snappers, and occasionally turtles or passing pelagic species. With depths ranging from about 4–30 meters and generally mild currents, Gerombong offers a relaxed, uncrowded diving experience away from the busier sites of Tulamben.
