Black Ray Channel is a drift dive site at Kapalai where gentle to moderate currents sweep through a sandy channel bordered by coral reefs. Typically dived between 10–25 m, it is known for frequent sightings of black-blotched stingrays, blue-spotted rays, turtles, schools of jacks and snappers, and an abundance of reef fish. The mix of coral formations and sandy bottom also supports excellent macro life, making it a rewarding dive for both wide-angle and macro photographers.
