Overview
Anemone Reef is a submerged limestone pinnacle between Phuket and Koh Phi Phi, and is one of Thailand's premier dive sites. The reef rises from about 25–30 m to within 5–6 m of the surface and is completely carpeted with sea anemones and their resident clownfish. Divers can also expect large schools of snapper, fusiliers, barracuda, trevally, lionfish, moray eels, ghost pipefish, seahorses, and, on the sandy bottom, occasional leopard sharks. The site often has moderate to strong currents and is best suited to intermediate and advanced divers.
Safety: Strong current possible
