Overview
Also known as Dolphin House, Shaab El Erg is a huge horseshoe-shaped reef near El Gouna. It is renowned for its resident pod of bottlenose dolphins which are often encountered by divers and snorkelers. The lagoon offers shallow, sheltered conditions ideal for beginners. The reef features coral gardens, pinnacles, and a sandy bottom with rays, morays, and turtles.
