The Landing Craft dive site is a fascinating World War II historical boat dive located inside the shallow western lagoon of Saipan. It features the wreckage of a sunken U.S. military LCVP (Landing Craft, Vehicle, Personnel), also known as a Higgins Boat, which played a critical role during the invasion of Saipan in June 1944.
